Nestled within a private site surrounded by natural landscaping in Istanbul, Camlica Log House reinterprets the traditional notion of a log residence through a more contemporary and urban perspective. Designed as a year-round living space rather than a seasonal retreat, the project balances the warmth of natural timber with a refined architectural language, particularly emphasized within the basement level.

For the project, a prefabricated log structure by the Finnish company Honka was selected. Constructed from specially crafted Finnish pine logs, the modular system was shipped from Finland and assembled on-site over a reinforced concrete base, combining Scandinavian craftsmanship with a contemporary residential approach.
